WHEELCHAIR RAMPS

We received a tender request to design manufacture and supply easy to use Wheelchair ramps for the rail system in Victoria.

We designed several ramps on paper and they chose the one that suited them best.

We then manufactured a prototype which was installed in a train for a trial period and it became an instant success.  Over time and use there have been small improvements to make it even easier for the operators.

The new style ramp reduced the time required at each stop with its quick and easy access.

We were then awarded a contract to supply and retro fit eight units to every train and eight units to every new train.

This is an ongoing contact with new trains being fitted out approximately every month.
